star ratingComfortable stay - Gulzaar ji , and his son Nasir, manage this homestay . They go out of their way to help their guests. I got good advice on Old Kashmir must visit... read more points .

I am an ardent admirer of Indian art and craft and wanted to pick specific papier mache pieces. He personally accompanied me to one such shop and needless to say, I shopped to my heart's content. He also helped me source authentic Kashmir almonds .

Another noble gesture that I want to highlight is that they accommodated our request for specific food as my mother was fasting on that particular day.

Our stay here was pleasant. Do not expect hotel level facilities as it is a home stay.  But do expect friendly, homely atmosphere and a comfortable stay. Not to forget, vegetarian dinner served here is delicious.

Also , do have a look at  Gulzaar ji 's collection of beautiful Kani pieces .  A big thumbs up!

Dinner have to be booked in advance before 3PM. No much places around to get food and it becomes difficult.
